August 25th – a musical beauty was taken from this earth but as always said she’s in a better place – the good always die young. Her music stills lives on till this day and I truly love her songs from 4 page letter to ROCK THE BOAT – her music was and is classic. Who knows where she would be right now . . . had God not called upon her – Beyonce – yes amazing but had Aaliyah been able to stay on the scene who knows where R&B would be right now. Nonetheless it is very clear Aaliyah has left a mark on music, R&B, and the everyone else who was able to come in contact with her.
